Brooklyn's Own World Of Wearable arts
Term 3 started with the Moa Syndicate taking part in BOWOW. To do this, all of the students were put into groups of 3 or 4 with people that they wouldn't normally work with.
They then had to choose 1 of 5 categories that they would enter their design into. They could choose from either
Upcycled, Past-Present-Future, Showbiz, Newspaper or Inspired by
The students came up with their own criteria of what their designs would be judged based on. The main things to consider were originality, the way their outfit matched their category and whether their outfit survived the runway.
There was very limited time available to plan and construct but the results were outstanding!
