In Room 10 this term we are very focused on "The Arts". This will include some forms of visual art, dance, drama and music. The main question behind this inquiry work is - How can we bring things to life with art? This will also filter through to our creative writing. This begins with the children being inspired by the BOWOW (Brooklyn's Own World Of Wearable arts) and will culminate in the school art exhibition. There are a few trips at the beginning of the term to get their creative juices flowing.
We have a lot of sports tournaments on this term and this will drive a lot of our P.E and syndicate sport time. The main focus will be on team winter sports such as netball, football, basketball and rugby.
In maths we begin the term following the arts theme with the children looking into geometric shapes and transformations. We will then have a number focus towards the end of term.
Home Learning
Each week the students have a homework document shared with them through google classroom. They need to check this weekly to see what is required each week. This will follow a similar format each week, but will not always be exactly the same.
